The UC Riverside School of Medicine hosted a pair of award ceremonies as part of the annual end-of-year celebrations concluding the 2021-22 academic year.
On May 17, the school hosted the online School of Medicine Awards Ceremony, where a total of 23 awards were presented to students, staff, and faculty in a variety of categories.
Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences and the Mark and Pam Rubin Dean of the School of Medicine Deborah Deas, M.D., M.P.H welcomed the awardees and their guests at the online ceremony. "It is such a pleasure to be with all of you this evening as we celebrate our outstanding faculty, staff and medical students for their contributions to medical education and for their academic achievements," she said. "This has been an extraordinary year for the medical school and we would not have achieved so much without each and every one of you."
On Wednesday, June 1, the Class of 2022 presented and received awards at the annual Graduation Dinner Awards Ceremony at the UCR Alumni and Visitors Center, which was held in person for the first time since 2019.
A recording of the May 17 ceremony and a list of the award recipients is available below. Photos from the graduation dinner and the list of award recipients can be found at the bottom of the page.
