The annual magazine details the achievements and continued excellence demonstrated by students, faculty and staff throughout the 2020-21 academic year. This includes innovating and rethinking processes and operations in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and achieving milestones that could not have been imagined prior to March 2020.
"Faced with uncertainty and adversity as most of our community learned and worked remotely, we demonstrated our ability to thrive despite those challenges and reached new heights," wrote Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences and the Mark and Pam Rubin Dean Deborah Deas, M.D., M.P.H. in her introductory message.
Highlights include the opening of the Center for Simulated Patient Care and the beginning of construction on the new SOM Education Building as well as profiles of outstanding staff and faculty.
